How CGSPORTS handles personal data shared through its contact channels.

We may process identification and contact details, information about the club, team or organisation, enquiry content, quantities, deadlines, files and logos that the person concerned chooses to send by email or WhatsApp. The contact page prepares a summary in the browser. When you choose to send it by email or WhatsApp, the summary is also sent to the CGSPORTS team through an internal notification (Telegram), so we can reply faster.
Data is used to respond to enquiries, prepare and follow up proposals, take pre-contractual steps requested by the person concerned, fulfil contracts and legal obligations, and protect legitimate interests relating to customer service, security and the defence of rights. Where processing depends on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time.
Data may be processed by service providers strictly necessary for the chosen channel, hosting, communications, IT support, accounting, transport or production, subject to the applicable safeguards. When choosing WhatsApp or another external service, that provider’s terms and policies also apply.
Information is retained only for the time necessary to respond to the enquiry and manage the business relationship, or for periods required by legal, tax, accounting and rights-defence obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to an ongoing business relationship are deleted or anonymised when no longer necessary.
Under the applicable rules, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection to processing, and withdraw consent, via geral@cgsports.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Portugal’s Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados at cnpd.pt.
